That FAMAC is an industry fmanufacturer of horizontal, vertical and submersible centrifugal pumps present throughout Brazil you already know, but did you know that it is Brazilian from scratch? That's right! She was born here, more specifically in the city of Jaraguá do Sul, in the north of Santa Catarina, in 1946.
Fifty years later, she needed to expand the industrial park and then moved to the neighboring town of Schroeder, a small and peaceful town that welcomed her and has been her home ever since.
Initially, FAMAC produced machines for wood processing. However, still in the 1980s, due to several changes in the market and legislation, it chose to change its line of business, starting to produce motor pumps.
Since then, countless applications have been added in the most diverse segments, from small residential supply projects to those in the big cities, from small home irrigation of gardens to large planting fields, from small pumping of sewage ditches to large waste treatment stations. counties. These are just a few examples of everything our more than 700 items in their different configurations can do when it comes to pumping!
We understand that this is the challenge of a Brazilian industry: to produce beyond commodities, in order to make available to the market, whether national or international, industrialized products with an international level of technology and a national soul.
